Top Five Tuesday | Fall reading recommendations

Hello there 🌞 How are you ? How is your reading ? Well, personally I am in the hugest reading slump ever since June/July : I only read four or five books this summer… so bad ! And now with uni it is pretty hard to find time to read « pleasure books »…

Anyway ! I am here today with my Top Five Tuesday, which his a weekly meme hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm, check it out ! This week, the topic is « Fall reading recommendations ». To be honest, I LOVE receiving book recommendations and I believe I am not very good at giving them but I promise, I’ll try my best ! So here we go !

The very first book that comes to my mind is Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake. I think it is quite THE book to read in Halloween times ! It is a bit scary and the characters are good !

To continue with the Halloween book vibes, I would say Frankenstein by Mary Shelley is a good one. I haven’t read it yet, but I plan on reading this one in October !

My next recommendation is a romance, so you might think it is more for summer than fall but for me, reading The Kiss Quotient, by Helen Hoang, in between the two seasons is a good idea ! Before you jump into this one, be aware : there is a lot of steamy scenes ! The characters are so great and the messages as well !

I feel like reading a dystopia is perfect for fall, that’s why I recommend here The Handmaid’s Tale, by Margaret Atwood. There is even a TV show but the book realy gives scary vibes !

My last rec is a book I am currently reading and I put it here because the story begins with a young girl going back to a new school and she is a supernatural creature. This book is Wicked Fox by Kat Cho !
