Top Five Tuesday | Funniest characters

Hello there ! 🌞 I hope you’re all doing fine, that you had a great weekend and a good start of the week !

Today’s post is dedicated to the Top Five Tuesday meme, hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm and the topic for this week is « top five funniest characters » !

To be honest, when I first saw the theme, one character immediately came to my mind and I don’t know why but I could not think of anbody else, so it was a bit hard for me to reach five characters. But here we go…

I don’t know if it is a surprise for you but, obviously, the first character I identified as funny is : Magnus Bane, from The Shadowhunter Chronicles. I love him and his sense of humor !

« We are on vacation. Carpe Diem. Seize the day, not the demons. »

(Okay, this quote might not be funny, but if you don’t know Magnus, I swear he is one of the funniest characters ever !)

Then I racked my brain and I thought of Ron Weasley… I can’t remember well any specific moments from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone but I do remember moments from the movie, and most of all, I remember Ruper Grint’s facial expressions and that is exactly how I pictured Ron !

My next character is Haymitch from the Hunger Games trilogy. I mean he is not that funny, he is always « out to lunch » but at the same time, always in the right ? I don’t know, I really appreciate this character. These books wouldn’t be the same without him !

Now, I think I cannot not deal with Jace from The Mortal Instruments, yes, another Shadowhunter character, but come on ! His sarcasm makes him even more attractive.

« I was hoping they’d put up flyers like they do for lost cats,” he said. “Missing, one stunningly attractive teenage boy. Answers to ‘Jace,’ or ‘Hot Stuff ’. »

There is one character missing and once again, sorry for the lack of originality but I feel like adding Thor or even Tony Stark would be a good idea ?

I cannot wait to read other Top Five because mine is probably not inspiring !
